Under a compromise decree the respondent plaintiff agreed to deposit in court the sale amount by January 1, 1960. December 31, 1959 and January 1, 1960 were holidays. The respondent made the deposit on January 2, 1960 and sought to enforce his right under the decree compelling the appellant defendant to execute the conveyance.
