The minor child's mother (the petitioners' daughter) had died and the maternal grandparents had been looking after the child since his separation from the father in 2021. In an earlier criminal appeal this Court, treating the father as natural guardian, directed custody to continue with the grandparents till 30.04.2025 and to be handed over to the father on 01.05.2025 before the jurisdictional SHO, with the father given familiarisation weekends and the grandparents given visitation on every second Saturday from June 2025.…
