Respondent No. 2's sons studied at a school where the appellant was Manager. After one son was injured in a quarrel with other students on 24 January 2020, Respondent No. 2 came to the school office and confronted the appellant; a quarrel and scuffle followed, and Respondent No. 2 alleged he was beaten with lathis, sticks and fists by the appellant and staff and subjected to caste-based abuse.
