In brief
The appellant engaged the respondent advocate as her counsel during 2013-2014 in connection with allegations that a senior police official had attempted to sexually assault her, and in the course of that engagement shared confidential personal information and material with him. A legal notice was issued to the official from the respondent's office on 8th and 15th July 2014, the authority for which was disputed. On 24th July 2014 the appellant lodged an FIR against the official, naming the respondent as acting under the official's influence, and on 28th July 2014 she herself appeared before television media, face covered, and spoke about her case.…
