UPPCL advertised 2974 posts of Technician Grade-2 (Trainee) Electrical in 2011, requiring candidates to produce a DOEACC computer certificate at the interview. After the written examination and interviews, results were declared on 21.05.2012, but many selected candidates had not produced DOEACC certificates and UPPCL repeatedly extended the deadline up to 31.07.2012.
